Playing the lottery has all sorts of great advantages. If you’re new to the idea of playing the lottery then it’s very easy to find out how to play. The majority of lottery games are really simple and they tend to be based on guessing a few numbers that with a little luck will appear in a random draw later on.
One of the great things about the lottery at the moment is the sheer number of games you can play. In the past, only the basic Lotto draw was available for players in the UK, but now the EuroMillions game has opened up even more opportunities in terms of jackpots.
The Euromillions and the main Lotto draw actually happen twice a week, which means that you’ve got four chances to win some fantastic cash prizes over the course of each week. Some recent jackpots on the Euromillions have added up to over 100m so there is ample incentive to get involved in this game in particular!
The lottery is also a good deal more accessible than it used to be. In the past, in order to play the lottery you had to visit your local shop to have your ticket printed off. Nowadays it is possible to play the lottery online wherever you are.
This is advantageous in a couple of different ways. For starters, it means you can log on and buy your ticket at a time and place to suit you. However, it is also means that your precious ticket is backed up online in case you win a prize!
Playing the lottery online is good fun because it allows you to explore other opportunities to win money. So if you could do with an extra bit of cash or you want to put yourself in with a chance of winning millions, now is definitely the time to start familiarising yourself with the games out there.

When writing covering letters to send out to potential employers, it can be tempting to write down absolutely every reason why you are perfect for the job. How can anyone argue with that?
But the key to impressing someone with your covering letter is to keep is short, snappy and different and to let your CV do the talking.
Don’t write the classic, ‘I believe that this is the perfect role for me because…’. Instead, think of a different way of approaching it by saying something like ‘I’m a keen worker who is itching to take my first steps into this industry.’ ‘If you like the look of my CV then please spare me a few minutes of your time so that I can come and chat to you about future opportunities.’
By writing an interesting covering letter, you are more likely to have your CV read. And that’s your time to shine.

At the moment, there are very few jobs going round. In fact, in some industries there are pretty much none.
This can make it really depressing and disheartening when looking for jobs. It’s easy to start beating yourself up about it and thinking that you’ve got nothing to offer. But the reality is that there are just no jobs about.
It’s frustrating and upsetting; particularly when you have so much to offer. But the only comfort is that you’re not the only one. So many people are in this position and it’s not your fault.
Look on the bright side; things can only get better.

One of the key mistakes that people make when writing a CV is that they send the same CV out to everyone. No matter what the job, some people will just send a standard CV.
But this is not the way to do it. You must alter your CV depending on the job and the company that you are applying for.
Each time you see a job that you want to apply for, you should amend your CV accordingly; highlighting the skills and experiences that will impress the employers.
By tailoring your CV to each job, you stand a much better chance of landing your dream role.

A CV is the first thing a future potential employer will see about you and could get your foot in the door or mean you don’t even get an interview.
The CV should portray your personality, your credentials for the job and any past experience that could be deemed relevant to the role you are applying too. You should try and keep your CV no longer than 2 pages and use short sharp bullet points to portray your opinions.
The CV should include an email address and telephone number as point of contact as the employer may use either as a way of contacting you.

The title says it all but the internet should be used by parents and children to get the revision books needed and why? – because they are cheaper online.
For years primary and secondary schools have said you can order all books through them together and this is the easy option. The books your children need are on loads of different websites for a fraction of the cost delivered to your door. You can also get even cheaper options if you get second hand books or you can gain money back on your revision books by using trade websites to sell on after.

In the papers and news you can read more information and stories on home schooling, but is home schooling as good?
Reading through the articles doesn’t really give me any definative answer so i have weighed up a few pro’s and con’s.
If your child is being home schooled then they have the undivided attention of the teacher so should be able to ask any questions easier and understand quicker.
The down side of home schooling is the child doesn’t have interaction with other children, which can result in fewer social skills.
Ultimately the choice of whether to home scholl your kids or not lies with the parents but it could be a big decision to make for the future of your child.
